In the Caribbean, we have a saying, “Rain does stop nothing but cricket,” meaning that inclement weather can never keep us from having a good time. Casa Mila embodied this spirit as it etched its mark on Jamaica’s event scene with its third staging at Hope Gardens this weekend.

The showers prompted promoters to adjust to a later start and end time, leading patrons to arrive fashionably late. Despite this, the event stood out with its exquisite decor, idyllic ambiance, and seamless sponsorship integrations.

Soul Designs

Determined to offer a more diverse musical experience than typical Jamaican party fare, Casa Mila DJs delivered. DJ Gabby brought her signature style, spinning chic-friendly hits across hip-hop, ’90s dancehall, and afrobeats. Kevi The Kinetic electrified the crowd with a multi-genre set, while DJ Stamma wowed with a reggae-infused performance.

The exquisite cuisine featured Atlantic oysters from RawBar and a full brunch menu by Ocean 7 Restaurant. Casa Mila also took the opportunity to promote Carnival 2025, leaving patrons to wonder if this was a hint at a Casa Mila celebration during Jamaica’s vibrant Carnival season.
