The Grammy-nominated artist drops a new single and video, perfectly timed for the summer heat.
Two-time Grammy-nominated Jamaican artist Protoje has delivered a new track, “Feel It,” just in time for the long days and warm nights of summer. The single, which dropped today, is a lush, sensual groove produced by The Indiggnation and Winta James, the sonic architect behind some of Protoje’s biggest hits, including “Who Knows” featuring Chronixx and “Switch It Up” with Koffee.
A shimmering fusion of reggae, soul, and jazz, “Feel It” leans into themes of romance and connection, showcasing a softer side of the artist. The track rides a breezy, mid-tempo riddim that feels custom-made for the season.
“With ‘Feel It,’ I wanted to inspire movement,” Protoje says of the new single. “I wanted to give the woman dem something to move to—inna reggae style—a nice tempo, something you can hold a vibe to. A song that brings people closer and gives off that light, airy feeling for summer.”

The release is accompanied by a visuals directed by Samo, which captures the intimate and airy vibe of the song.
This new wave of warmth from Protoje comes as his previous single, the grittier “Big 45,” continues to gain momentum. That track recently landed him a coveted spot on COLORS x STUDIOS, where his commanding performance drew widespread acclaim. The official video for “Big 45” hit #1 on Jamaica’s YouTube chart back in April and has since racked up over 3 million views, cementing its place as another anthem in his impressive catalog.
Protoje is also gearing up for a major international tour run this summer, with stops at festivals across North America and Europe. Fans can catch him at Reggae Sumfest in Jamaica, the Levitate Music Festival in the U.S., Monegros Desert Festival in Spain, and Reggae Geel in Belgium. The tour is slated to continue into early 2026, with dates across France, Switzerland, and the Netherlands.
As a visionary and cultural catalyst, Protoje continues to forge new paths, pushing the boundaries of modern Jamaican music while mentoring the next generation of artists like Lila Iké and Sevana through his In.Digg.Nation Collective label. “Feel It” is just the latest example of his mastery in modernizing reggae without losing its essential soul.
