GenXS Carnival is officially back on the road. The band has launched its fourth season with INFINITI, a creative direction built around endless energy, evolution, and transformation, setting the tone for Jamaica Carnival 2026.
With the website now live, costume reveals out, and registration officially open, INFINITI signals a confident new chapter for the brand. This season’s presentation features sections designed by regional creatives Shawn Dhanraj, David Dewer, Douglas John, Rhion Romany, and Kriston Milano, alongside the LIMITLESS T-shirt section designed by Monét Flowers and Tobi-Gail Smith-Henry.
According to Flowers, who serves as GenXS Marketing Manager and Creative Lead, INFINITI represents the band’s most ambitious vision yet.
“INFINITI is our boldest creative statement to date,” Flowers said. “We drew on natural forces and phenomena, from the glow of the Northern Lights to the mystery of a mirage. Every feather, gem, string, and stone is crafted to channel power and confidence on the road.”

That attention to detail extends beyond design. GenXS Logistics and Production Director Matthew Waddell underscored the band’s focus on quality control from start to finish.
“We tightly manage everything from designer selection to final distribution,” Waddell explained. “Our priority is ensuring that what we promise at launch is exactly what masqueraders receive at collection.”
For the Jamaican season, GenXS anchors its offering with Immortals J’Ouvert, the GenXS Road March, and Ocean X, with additional lead-up partner events still to be announced. Masqueraders who register and purchase through the GenXS platform will also receive a post-purchase email featuring a Jamaica Relief support link powered by MasOS, providing a secure, optional way to contribute to ongoing national recovery efforts.
The band’s regional footprint continues to expand. GenX Miami recently placed third in the Miami Band of the Year Showcase, while the Trinidad 2026 Tribe section is already reported as oversold. Locally, the GenXS Band House opens at the Sovereign Centre in Kingston for the Christmas period and will operate through early February.
Band Leader and Director Mala Morrison framed the season within a wider cultural and economic context, especially as Jamaica continues to rebound following Hurricane Melissa.

“Carnival is a celebration, and it is a renewal,” Morrison said. “In a year when communities are still recovering after Hurricane Melissa, the industry restores income for vendors, artistes, production crews, hotels, transport, and food services. Last season, Carnival in Jamaica generated over USD 8 million in spend. GenXS is focused on pushing that contribution further in 2026 with stronger entertainment, safer staging, and better hospitality.”
Returning for a fourth consecutive year, Smirnoff under Red Stripe Group steps back in as Title Sponsor, joined by premier partners KFC and Wisynco, with additional support from Massy Group.
