When it comes to makeup, everyone has their go-to brands. For foundation one may use Revlon, to conceal they might buy that LA Girl Pro concealer and for their eyes, the go-to might be a Juvia’s eye shadow palette. The list of makeup brands are seemingly endless and it all depends on the person’s taste, needs, and budget. But sometimes, you have to step out of your comfort zone and try new palettes, lipsticks or highlighters. To do this, you don’t need to buy the trendiest or most popular brands. You can try some Caribbean brands that can equally satisfy your needs. Here are a few you can try:

This list cannot be completed without an honorary mention of Fenty Beauty. In 2017, Rihanna shook the beauty industry when she launched a line of foundations that matched every skin tone. With this line, Rihanna created an inclusivity that the beauty industry needed and something that most makeup brands had yet to master. But she didn’t stop there, she dropped highlighters, concealers, eye shadows, lipsticks and glitter bombs. Her products are designed to feel lightweight, have quality coverage and most importantly “make skin look like skin”.
