The sunshine city will be a bit breezy come August 21. Breeze, brunch on the beach, is the next event on the Carib Voxx radar, creating a storm of excitement in the event scene. It is the event’s first staging in Jamaica, as America has already experienced the “Breeze” where its debut staging was held by Aidonia’s 4th Generation / JOP camp. Now, in collaboration with promotional entity Portmore Society, which has been responsible for top parties and events such as Cross Di Wataz, Image, and Allure, to name a few, the 4th Generation / JOP camp is giving Ultra Beach in Portmore St. Catherine the Breeze experience.
“The event takes the form of a day beach brunch vibe,” said the promoter of Breeze, “Breeze starts at 2 pm and ends at 10 pm; where we party and frolic for the first part of the event with a musical onslaught from top selectors and DJs,” he added. The selectors/DJs referred to are nothing short of impressive, featuring the names of Coppershot Sound, DJ Banka, TripleX, and Mash Caan.
Also impressive are the sponsors involved in the event “Breeze”, namely Campari, Jungle Fyah, 876 Water, Hapilos Entertainment, and PRINTBIG. They are all well-known names in their respective industries. When asked about the involvement of the sponsors, the promoter had this to say; “We are very pleased with our sponsors and they have assisted us greatly to ensure that we execute a premium dancehall event on August 21.” All playing integral roles in the event, “Breeze” is obviously in capable hands.
The sands of Ultra Beach will also be hosting a stellar lineup of dancehall’s big hitters and top-form artists to close out the event. With fresh “Choppa Lessons” to teach, Topmann himself is included in the lineup with serial hit makers Iwaata and Intence, and of course, the “Breeze” artistes Govana and Aidonia will be taking Portmore by whirlwind with their impressive catalogue and household hits. The performances are expected to be blazing.
“We expect high energy from start to finish,” the promoter told the Carib Voxx team, something the “Breeze” Jamaican debut promises to provide in abundance. The August 21 event has all the ingredients of an incredible event for an amazing time. “I was there” are the words you should want to say.
