The calendar marks the best weekend ever, not by opinion. The fact remains that this series includes some of the most anticipated and renowned events that the modern era of partying in Jamaica has to offer. “An escape to Paradise is the slogan,” said Jywanza Hall of The Best Weekend Ever team. Labelled as Jamaica’s “premium party experience”, the series consists of 6 distinct events that cater to a plethora/diverse group of partygoers, with each event capturing a different euphoria on the sands and coasts of Ocho Rios.
The weekend consists of events like the Soca fan favourite I Love Soca Cooler Festival, whose dedicated patrons bring their rhythmic jumping and gyrations wherever the event is hosted. Friday night (August 5) will be no exception. With a feature by Soca pioneer Kes, Friday night will be bouncing. Saturday morning (August 6) will start strong with the Daybreak Breakfast Party, colourful brunch chic, satisfying not only waistlines and eardrums but also tastebuds with delectable breakfast cuisine. Following this is the fashionable and exclusive Milk and Honey, bringing New York’s sexiest event to the north coast.
Zimi Seh Beach, with Zimi Entertainment fresh from the recent high of Zimi Seh Riva, will commence on Sunday morning (August 7). And it is the intention that Zimi will be carrying that form into The Best Weekend Ever, providing the patrons with the ultimate beach experience as only Zimi Entertainment can. Later that day, Allure takes over. A luxurious summer night experience featuring Ding Dong, who is bound to have the Bay Beach dancing in unison. Concluding The Best Weekend Ever will be a relaxing lime on the beach introduced as Late Check-Out, to cement the weekend in all its glory.
Hall also shared with us what patrons should expect over the course of the weekend. “They should expect entertainment from start to finish, a high-tempo celebration of the sixtieth anniversary.” They should expect delectable local and international cuisines and they should expect to have their best ever time spent in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. “
