Delawness x Carib Voxx Collaboration
With 2018 being the first year of operation for Carib Voxx, we have decided to collaborate with illustrative brand Delawness to create our first batch of merchandise. Also officially launched in 2018, Delawness was started by Graphic Designer and Illustrator Lawrence L. Deacon from Montego Bay, St. James. “Delawness; my illustrative brand. Delawness is a state of mind, it is not saying you are lawless or opposing the law. It is about finding balance and equality as a person”.
A past student of the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts, Deacon has managed to build a name for himself not simply just a Graphic Designer, but also a creative entrepreneur. He uses a mixture of traditional and contemporary media to create some very eye catching abstract and futuristic master pieces. When asked what can be expected from this collaboration, Deacon stated “this collaboration is breaking down previous barriers and stigma that once existed within the creative industry. The collaboration encompasses a mix of music and visual art meets contemporary streetwear. Carib Voxx is providing the platform for both established and upcoming artist to showcase their talent”.
