Skeng, Kaka Highflames, and a Kris Kross refix lead the charge on Ding Dong’s May 2 drop.
After years of shelling stages and sound systems with pure vibes, Ding Dong is finally ready to show the world the full scope of his artistry. On May 2, the dancehall dynamo will drop his debut full-length album From Ding Dong to World Ding—a bold, bass-heavy document of growth, movement, and musical mastery.
If you’re expecting just another round of feel-good party anthems, think again. This is Ding Dong on a different frequency.
The project’s first single, “Street Jump,” offers a taste of what’s to come—and it’s a serious flex. The track sees Ding linking with dancehall’s unruly poster boy Skeng and Kaka Highflames for a fresh twist on Kris Kross’s 1992 classic “Jump.” The result? A dancefloor warhead loaded with nostalgia, raw attitude, and a riddim that could buss any speaker box from Kingston to Kyoto.

With From Ding Dong to World Ding, the Ravers Clavers frontman isn’t just making music—he’s cementing legacy. The album traces his journey from neighborhood danca to certified cultural icon, peeling back layers of the man behind the moves. It’s a nod to the streets that raised him and a salute to the stages he’s conquered, all while pushing dancehall to new frontiers.
And while the world might know Ding Dong as the man behind some of dancehall’s most viral dances—think “Gas,” “Fling,” and “Lebeh Lebeh”—those who’ve followed his career understand he’s long been more than just movement. Whether he’s turning corporate campaigns into cultural moments or advocating for the rights and recognition of Jamaica’s dancers, Ding moves with purpose.
Over the past two decades, he’s kept the genre clean and creative, elevating dancehall’s image while keeping it locked to its grassroots. With this album, he’s finally giving us a soundtrack to that entire evolution.
From Ding Dong to World Ding drops May 2 via OneRPM. Lead single “Street Jump” featuring Skeng and Kaka Highflames is out now on all major platforms, alongside the official music video.
