Carib Voxx is a Digital Media Company and Caribbean content platform, globally pushing all areas of the Caribbean culture from the music, art, and lifestyle. We are establishing industry credibility for Caribbean content while being the voice of millennials staying on top of subcultures and youth culture throughout the Caribbean.

Carib Voxx is looking for Interns to join our creative team. We are looking for creative hybrids with a varied background and deep interest in Caribbean Entertainment and Culture.

Roles and Responsibilities

Content Writer

• Write articles on cultural topics related to the Caribbean
• Keep up to date with news pertaining to the Caribbean entertainment industry  
• Prepare well-structured drafts using Content Management Systems
• Submit articles to editors for input and approval
• Conduct simple keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic
• Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images, and tone)
• Promote content on social media
• Coordinate with marketing and design teams to illustrate articles

Associate Editor

• Assisting senior editors with tasks related to the publication.
• Checking the content, spelling, style, and grammar of submitted work.
• Collaborating with the marketing team, writers, and photographers
• Performing research and fact-checking on topics for CARIB VOXX
• Proofreading and editing article submissions

Social Media Manager

• Develop and oversee a social media marketing calendar that determines what content to post and when to post it.
• Ensure all posts align with the overall messaging and objectives of CARIB VOXX
• Coordinate with the marketing team to develop successful and congruent marketing campaigns.
• Assist in content creation through videography, photography, video editing, and graphic design.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
• Basic knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Excellent visual and written communication skills.

Video Content Creator

• Manage the entire video content creation timeline, including ideation, storyboarding, shooting, editing, graphics, color and audio correction, and delivery.
• Excellent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects.
• Prioritize content creation specifically for social media, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube. Contribute to strategies to grow our social media audiences, and stay up-to-date with trends and algorithms.
• Excellent visual and written communication skills.
