Following the release of the single ‘Can’t Stay Sober’ dancehall superstar Konshens has teamed up with dancehall’s reigning queen Spice and super producer Rvssian to deliver the second release from his forthcoming album ‘Red Reign’.
The track titled ‘Pay For It’ is a subtle “gyal” tune, a dancehall ballad which features Konshens and Spice vocalizing over a melodious hook and spitting hardcore lyrics in the verses.
“When people see Konshens and Spice, dem nah expect a song like this”, Konshens stated.
The music video directed by Xtreme Arts depicts Konshens as a bus conductor in the heart of Kingston Jamaica in pursuit of his attractive working-class passenger played by Spice. The two exchange words along their journey through the city’s streets as Konshens tries to win her over.
‘Pay For It’ is a dancehall track like we’ve never heard before. It certainly has major international hit potential. Watch the official music video above the article.
