Amali passionately adds, “Art and luxury are inseparable, and it’s always mesmerizing to see those worlds collide. This event is about more than just art—it’s an experience that blends the best of food, fashion, music, and, of course, the rich visual art of the region.”
The show will take place in the sleek and sophisticated Hyundai Showroom, setting the stage for a night where creativity and luxury seamlessly intertwine. A private viewing is scheduled for the evening of August 28, leading up to the main event on Thursday, August 29, at 7:00 pm. Tickets are available for $10,000 JMD, ensuring access to a night of unmatched artistic immersion.
Adding to the event’s allure, music will be provided by renowned Jamaican selectors ZJ Chrome and DJ Powa, who will set the perfect ambiance for this celebration of Caribbean art and culture.
Expressing his excitement, Amali reflects on the cultural significance of the event: “Creativity is the charming gardener that nurtures the souls of every Jamaican. It’s woven into the fabric of our existence and is the key to overcoming the socioeconomic and sociocultural challenges we face as a nation.”
The Worlds Collide Art Show is more than just an art exhibition; it’s a movement to inspire a new generation of Jamaicans, showcasing not only the beauty of modern art but also a fresh perspective on how upward social mobility can be achieved. With Cranwater and CPJ as proud sponsors, the event is poised to be a landmark moment in Kingston’s cultural calendar, fusing modern visual art with fashion and music in a way that’s designed to exhilarate and liberate young minds from conventional thinking about wealth and success.
