Similar to the enigmatic construct of time, very few people truly understand Marieange Bovell beyond the surface. As her trajectory as a creative entrepreneur intensifies, it becomes increasingly apparent how multifaceted she is, and the launch of her new Monday Wear collection showcases just that.

“I feel like anything you’re passionate about makes you nervous. I literally had to wait until everything was done to tell myself, ‘Okay, it’s really happening.’ Especially returning in a year where the market is extremely saturated, I knew I had to come through,” she affectionately stated. Very few models in the industry have been able to evolve their brands into the realm of creative entrepreneurship, and Marieange aims to bridge this gap with the Monday Wear collection.

Seasoned revelers like Bovell understand the nuanced differences between Carnival Monday and Carnival Tuesday. When asked to elaborate on this, she playfully asserted, “Feathers, feathers, feathers. Just kidding. But really and truly, Carnival Monday is the day you get the opportunity to express yourself, wearing a piece that represents you and having the time of your life before Tuesday, where you have to dodge feathers or, in other cases, master backpack etiquette, aka walking sideways.”

Marieange Bovell’s unrivaled love for carnival and her innate willingness to support other creatives fueled her decision to still model for other Monday Wear designers this season. “While I decided to take this step to launch my own Monday Wear collection, modeling is still my passion. I believe, at the end of the day, people will purchase a piece that connects with them. Everybody can win.” That selflessness, paired with her heightened relevance going into Carnival 2024, substantiates why we anticipate Marieange’s Monday Wear collection to be a massive success.

Everything Marieange Bovell touches has a particular sense of quality and is pristinely done, and we expect her Monday Wear collection to be no different. Her longevity in this fleeting entertainment industry has defied time. Balancing motherhood, entrepreneurship, and modeling depicts how she manages time, but the scintillating buzz around her brand regionally encapsulates the sentiment that it is indeed her time to dominate the industry holistically.
