Today Protoje releases the first new song and visualizer “Still Blooming” featuring Lila Iké and IzyBeats. The song is available for streaming, accompanied by an animated visualizer done by Joshua Solas, Acquille Dunkley, and Yannick Reid.
Protoje’s perspective on his life’s most pivotal events expands with the announcement of “In Search of Lost Time: Deluxe Edition”. The artist’s fifth studio album is set to be repackaged and redistributed on March 19 via In.Digg.Nation/Six Course Music/RCA Records. Continuing the album’s overall theme of introspection, its additional tracks are entitled “Still Blooming” (featuring Lila Iké & IzyBeats), “Still Royal” (featuring Popcaan, Pa Salieu & Toddla T), and “Righteous”.
Protoje and Lila Iké performed the original version, “In Bloom”, most recently on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert’s music-centered segment, #PlayAtHome. ‘Still Blooming’ is a more spacious, mid-tempo remix produced by IzyBeats, the hit-making co-producer of Koffee’s “Toast” and Lila Iké’s “I Spy”.
