Regal Reflections: A Conversation with Rhema King

Caribbean women have been the backbone of our society, and in many instances, they have gone without praise, adulation, or the recognition they deserve. They possess an uncanny ability to overcome challenges and excel in ways that, to some, may seem unfathomable.

Grounded by strong faith, immeasurable charisma, and forceful intellect, Rhema King is the embodiment of a strong Caribbean woman. The pristine allure of her flawless melanin skin and her advanced stylistic sensibilities pair effortlessly with her nuanced perspectives on life.

“I’m someone with billionaire best friends and have been to some of the nicest places. I realized firsthand it’s all not worth it. What matters most in life is love and genuine friends. People have that without money more than with money. Anyone trying to make it, take your real riders with you. It is difficult to find true people at the top.”

Rhema King’s outstanding work as an Attorney & NFT Blockchain Consultant has garnered recognition from the IDB executive director in DC, who awarded her the honor of being on the Caribbean 30 under 30 list. She is extolled as one of the leading NFT legal consultants in the Caribbean, even while being called to the bar in England, Wales, and Trinidad & Tobago. Rhema King is supremely passionate about creating new forms of income for others to achieve sustainable living and advance the Caribbean economy.

The open-hearted and open-minded usually face one main challenge in life, and that’s finding their core circle. Having lived in different parts of the world, it was her faith that preserved her throughout the lonely times that are inevitable on the tumultuous journey to success. “That’s how I’ve been able to keep standing through hard times. I had to rethink everything during the pandemic. I lost many family members, and it affected me. I planned to go back to London in 6 months after coming to Trinidad and then due to the pandemic, I stayed for almost 4 years. It was make or break for me, and thankfully it made me so much stronger. I learned the power of gratitude. I’ve gotten so many opportunities by staying grateful. It is a powerful pull of blessings towards me.”
