House of Party is one of the newest event committees in Trinidad and Tobago. Taking inspiration from the party film Project X the committee aims to cater to patrons who aren’t afraid to go to the extreme when it comes to a night out. House of Party has made waves with functions such as wine tasting event Fine Wine, Tobago house party Wii Island, and bonfire at Chaquacabana resort. However, their biggest ongoing event is Ibiza Fridaze.
Hosted every Friday at Ibiza Nightclub & Lounge on 16 Rust Street, St. Clair, Woodbrook, the joint endeavour with Jamz Entertainment promises to provide partygoers with the ultimate club experience. Committee member Marc Jeffrey says, “I honestly think that Ibiza Fridaze is popular because no matter the size of the crowd it’s guaranteed vibes.” Officially launching on July 1 the club party has had a handful of iterations, including Red Carpet Affair, Jammin on Rust Street, and Baddies Night Out.
The committee invites guests to look beyond the party and focus on creating once-in-a-lifetime memories. Picture this. You’re at the club ready to take a breather, but then your favorite song comes on. You can’t sit down. Especially when your crew knows it’s your song, so you muster up the energy and head back out to the dancefloor. “We’re all about dancing till yuh tired,” Jeffrey says. It’s an experience many of us know all too well. It’s those same universal experiences that help organizers maintain the house party atmosphere no matter the locale. Jeffrey goes on to say, “It’s not only a party. It’s never only gonna be a party.”
Seeking to continue to curate memorable experiences the budding young House of Party will be hosting its first solo event entitled EXCLUSIVE on August 21. Sticking with the house party theme the public is invited to secure their keys (tickets) to participate. Set at the familiar Ibiza Nightclub & Lounge from 2 PM to 7 PM, House of Party promises giveaways for the first 100 patrons and the opportunity to party into the sunset at this exclusive event.
