Careem Gilbert
I am Careem Gilbert, from the Caribbean Island of Grenada. I can be considered as a multi-disciplinary visual creative. I work under the creative brand named “CG Creative”. Visuals play a huge part in my life as well as the people around me. It triggers memories, feelings, influences decisions, opinions and moods. For me personally, with technology and the ability to produce, I have the unique responsibility in the visual age to create content for individuals and commercially for companies.
Studying in multiple fields such as Experience Design, Graphic Design, Art, Web Design and Communication, these all come together in cohesion, influencing the style and purpose of the content I create. They play a big role as I also use them to communicate to audiences and create unique visuals of expression and representation for many different results.

This shot was really fun. I took it from an adventure I went on with a group of good friends. It’s a good memory for me because I just escaped into the dark to take it. It’s a long exposure shot, the night was much darker than seen here. It represents being able to see past my eyes and knowing what can be done with it ‘creatively’.

Brand Shooting
These shots were all favs of mines from brand shoots done the past year. This particular section refers to costume wears for Spicemas in Grenada. Each shoot is unique and everyone has a unique idea for the portrayal of their designs/ creations. I’m just the ‘digital artist’.

Angelle John
This photo was a concept with dancer Angelle John, witch we planned for months. I had this idea of a dancer in the city. What I really enjoyed about this is how confident she was in the streets. A true memory.
