Imagine spending six days vacationing on a beautiful 7-mile beach, meditating and soothing your soul through yoga. You’re staying at a breath-taking hotel while listening to spoken word artistes and conscious thought leaders. You’re learning about sacred plant medicine and Rastafari culture with the chance to have a CDB massage to put you in a deep state of relaxation. And to top it off, you get to immerse yourself in irie music played by International DJ’s or sung live by your fave reggae artistes. Now this may sound a little unbelievable but something like this does exist. And to make it even better it exist within our region, more specifically in Negril, Jamaica. What I’m talking about is a Part Music Festival, Part Retreat; 100% Life Experience. I’m talking about Tmrw. Tday Culture Fest 2019.
Tmrw. Tday Culture Fest is a six day wellness and culture festival. The concept of this experience is a blend of a music festival like Coachella with yoga, wellness programs, cannabis talks and excursions. This year will be the third time the festival is being held and it will take place from April 30th– May 5th 2019 in Negril, Jamaica. However, if you want a taste of what last year was like, here’s a visual recap.
Tmrw.Tday Culture Fest
Your experience will consist of an Irie Soul Beach wellness program which includes, yoga practice with instructors like Acro Buddhas, Tribe talks with Jesse Royal, workshops, meditation and sound healing, dance & flow and fitness and sport. Each day has a different theme with day one being “Intention” and day six “Reveal”.
The music line-up includes acts like Protoje, Dubfire, Naomi Cowan, Umi, Max Glazer and so much more. This portion of the festival opens with a fire ceremony and continues with amazing acts every night. For all the reggae lovers Day five will probably be a fave because it’s when Protoje & The Indiggnation will be performing. And for five lucky persons, Carib Voxx is giving you the chance to win a ticket to see Protoje live. All you have to do is keep scrolling.
