“This project is about preserving the roots while creating something that sounds like now,” the producers tell CARIB VOXX. “We grew up on jugglings — from Diwali to Showtime. Those riddims gave artists room to get creative. We’ve always asked, why doesn’t our generation do that more? Sacred is our answer.”
And that answer resonates. Each artist taps into the riddim’s reverent energy to bring something intimate and distinct. From reflective chants and affirmations of self-love, to odes of healing and longing, the compilation flows like a ritual.
All tracks were recorded, mixed, and mastered at the legendary Harry J Recording Studio, a hallowed space for reggae lovers, now re-energized with new-generation vision. Distribution comes via DubShot Records out of New York, giving Sacred the global legs to carry its message far beyond the Rock.
