The Carnival tabanca officially met its match as RC Mas dropped their highly anticipated presentation, setting the runway and stage ablaze with pure, unadulterated vibes. It was a night where high fashion, soca royalty, and raw bacchanal collided to usher in a whole new standard for the road.
Taking center stage at the launch was none other than the Sokah Princess herself, Nailah Blackman. Not only did Nailah headline the runway by unveiling a stunning, original costume piece that she designed herself, but she also spearheaded the entire band launch. To top off the historic moment, Nailah debuted an electrifying live showcase backed by her brand-new backing group, The Experience Band. Delivering undeniable energy, raw vocals, and pure soca magic, Nailah and The Experience Band officially proved that they are a force to be reckoned with for the upcoming season.
The runway itself was a breathtaking celebration of Caribbean creativity, featuring an elite roster of local talent who brought the vision to life. The crowd was treated to a masterclass in mas and fashion, courtesy of visionary designers Caro, Abena John, Cheleste Peterson, Nisha Felice, Makkan Designs, Designing Daryl, Aaron Schneider, Terri Lyons—who brought her own signature flare to the collection—and Nailah Blackman herself. From intricate featherwork to sleek, modern silhouettes, each creative delivered a distinct flavor that left masqueraders already picking their sections for the road.

A mas launch is only as iconic as the energy brought to the runway, and the models understood the assignment completely. Delivering absolute perfection, Marie-ange Pollonais and Sonique Girdharie commanded the stage with standout performances. Their presence, poise, and magnetic energy turned heads and elevated the costumes into living art, leaving the crowd in complete awe.
The energy inside the venue never dipped for a second, driven by a stacked lineup of powerhouse performers who kept the crowd moving from start to finish. Big vocal performances were delivered by Terri Lyons, Tevin Hartman, Tempa, Christo, and College Boy Jesse, all backed by the infectious riddims and live instrumentation of The Experience Band.
RC Mas didn’t just launch a band—they made a definitive statement. With Nailah Blackman bridging the gap between music, mas design, and live performance, backed by an incredible team of designers, models, and musical artists, RC Mas is officially locked, loaded, and ready to dominate the road.
