MM was met with a warm reception by the Jamaican media and the noteworthy entertainment dignitaries in the space. WiFete promises to be one of the most exhilarating events for the Jamaica carnival as the lineup also includes acts like Bunji Garlin, Nailah Blackman, and Valiant. The initiative is a collaboration between Machel Montano, WiPay, and GenXS Carnival.
WiPay and Machel Montano have developed a fruitful and lucrative partnership lately, therefore it’s no surprise to see them further collaborative efforts in Jamaica with WiFete. The decision to align with GenXS Carnival is also a cerebral and timely one for Machel and WiPay. GenXS Carnival is undoubtedly the most enigmatic band among the four, in Jamaica carnival this year.
