23 years and 23 artists will mark the golden year of Grenadian musical sensation V’ghn on Tuesday April 23, 2019. V’ghn’s 23rd birthday celebration (V23) is one of the most anticipated events to hit Grenada before the return of Buju Banton and SpiceMas 2019.
The artist lineup is definitely golden. Some of soca’s biggest acts will touch the stage of the Kirani James Athletic Stadium. All there to bring in the ‘Jordan Year’ of the voice behind ‘Trouble in the Morning’. The lineup includes Blaxx, Lyrikal, Farmer Nappy, Nailah Blackman, Mandella Linkz, Jaiga, Lil Natty and Thunda and 2019 International (Power) Soca Monarch Mr. Killa. The father of Jab music, Tallpree, and others will also grace the stage.
V23 begins at 6 PM EST and ends at 12 AM EST. To elevate the golden experience, all acts will be accompanied by a live band. As V’ghn said, “Life is the greatest gift and I never knew my life would be like this,” so he is sharing the experience. Early bird tickets are sold out, but few regular priced ($35 XCD) and limited VIP (300XCD) tickets are still in stock.
