Fast spitting freestyle Dancehall Artist Ajji is looking forward to “running the Summer” with his latest single ‘Live For The Summer’ which features international recording artist Stylo G and Heavyweight Hitmaker Busy Signal.
Ajji, who previously went by the stage name ‘Ajrenalin’ but ultimately changed it because “Fans of my work couldn’t find who did their favourite songs because of how complex my name and it’s spelling was”. Ajji describes his new song as the biggest summer song for 2020.
“I was contacted by longtime friend and producer Michaelius Phipps of New League Music With the Beat and asked to come up with a song for the summer to include Stylo G. I wrote the song demo the verses and sent it to Stylo G who immediately jumped on the record bringing his own style and flair” explains Ajji, speaking about the origins of ‘Live For The Summer’. The Busy Signal verse was then secured when by a stroke of luck the legendary Jamaican artist walked into the studio while the song was being mixed and was captivated by the contagious beat. Busy laid his verse stating “ No mi need piece a dis” and the rest was history.
