The month of May saw Audiomack partnering with emerging Jamaican musical talents DJ Antsman, DJ Mac, and Kashmatic on the creation of dynamic playlists reflecting local sub-genres within the Caribbean space. The success of the playlists so far, The Forever Playlist by Kashmatic, TrapHall by DJ Mac, and The Golden Playlist by DJ Antsman has led to self-proclaimed Road Marshal Brush1Chromatic being added to the mix as the newest Tastemaker.
Brush1Chromatic is no stranger to the music industry with several titles to his name including recording artist, celebrity MC as well as highly sought after DJ. As the Soca Viking Brush1 has been tasked to create a playlist fit for the fetes he enjoys so much.
“A lot of the popular music apps aren’t available in the Caribbean but Audiomack is that one! In this I saw an opportunity to connect local and international soca music lovers, kinda bring everybody under one roof! The Tabanca City Playlist being that roof. I plan to update it every month with not just new soca but old soca as well; have to respect where di ting coming from. I’ve also reached out some some artiste for some specials as well, so people should definitely follow and look out! A lot of things coming to ‘Tabanca City’ and I just want to say big up Audiomack for seeing the vision allowing me to represent soca on the platform.”
